Dr. Pamela S. Chally

Pamela Chally is Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of North Florida. Pam was previously the dean and professor of nursing in the Brooks College of Health at UNF and has a doctorate in nursing from Georgia State University, a master’s of nursing from Emory University, and a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Illinois. Pam has worked as an academic administrator and nursing faculty member for more than 40 years. During her tenure, she raised almost $30 million in support of the Brooks College of Health.

Pam currently serves on the Brooks Rehabilitation Board, the Ronald McDonald House Advisory Board, and Baptist Health in addition to participating in other community and professional organizations. She was named one of Florida’s Great 100 Nurses. She was honored as a “Women of Influence” by the Jacksonville Business Journal, was named the Distinguished Professor at the University of North Florida and received the EVE award for Education. In addition, she received the Desmond Tutu Peace and Reconciliation Award, Transformational Leadership and Collaborative Engagement Award, the Health Source Inspiration Award, the Girls Inc. of Jacksonville Award for Education and the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council Woman of Distinction Award.
