One of the most important parts of the Brooks system of care is our employees who constantly go above and beyond to help patients recover.

Because of the passion and dedication of our staff, the Jacksonville Business Journal has named us one of the “Best Places to Work in Jacksonville for 2015”. This is the fourth year that Brooks has received this honor.

Brooks Rehabilitation Best Places to Work 2015The 50 companies that received this designation were chosen as the results of surveys that were sent out to thousands of employees working on the First Coast. The survey asked questions regarding various aspects of employee wellness, benefits, and overall work experience. Over 500 of our employees participated in the survey process.

In addition to making the list, Brooks was also named the “Healthiest Place to Work” in the category of companies with over 500 employees. The Jacksonville Business Journal held a ceremony on July 6 to present the awards. Brooks sent a delegation of eight employees representing various parts of our system of care to accept the award. The following employees were selected to attend the awards presentation: Sherita Smalls, Susan Doings, Natasha Patel, Michael Greene, Edwin Aponte, Marcia Gross, and John Weidner.
