Public Notice of Magnet Site Visit

Brooks is happy to announce that we are moving right along in our quest to be the first Magnet designated free-standing rehab hospital in the state of Florida. This milestone is the culmination of many hours of hard work by Brooks’ dedicated nursing staff.

Magnet designation is a highly sought after credential in the world of healthcare that recognizes excellence in nursing. It signifies that an organization has developed rigorous standards of care, educational and professional development programs, and a high level of integration within care teams. Only two free-standing inpatient rehabilitation facilities in the country have ever gained magnet status and Brooks is poised to be the first such hospital in Florida!

As part of this process the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program is requesting input from the public about our nursing services. Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so.  Anyone may send comments via e-mail, fax, and direct mail.
