Clinical Research Engineer
Arian earned her PhD in Biomechanics from the University of Texas, Austin in 2014. In 2012, she received the American Heart Association SouthWest Affiliate Predoctoral Award. She has been working as a Clinical Research Engineer at the Brooks Motion Analysis Center since 2015.
Arian is involved in both research and clinical assessments of people with neurological movement disorders at Brooks. Her research has been focused on developing experimental analysis techniques to answer clinically relevant questions aimed at improving post-stroke rehabilitation outcomes. Her areas of interest are neuromechanics of human movement, motor control and dynamic balance.
