Amputation Rehabilitation Program

Healing is a progressive process post amputation. Brooks Rehabilitationโ€™s approach to amputation rehabilitation is a high level of care personalized to meet each individual's needs.

Our goal is to have each amputee patient return to their highest quality of life from playing with kids or grandkids, or participating in rigorous workout routines and adaptive sports.

How we provide rehabilitation post-amputation

Our amputee program focuses on a holistic approach. The Brooks team works closely with the patient and prosthetic companies to ensure the best experience possible. This close relationship allows amputation care to be seamless and ensures the best results for our patients.

Brooks also provides psychology services for patients struggling with the emotional aspects of limb loss, as well as providing peer and community support after initial rehabilitation.

Expert amputation rehabilitation team

Brooksโ€™ team of amputee rehabilitation specialists starts with fellowship-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors, psychologists, therapists, case managers, nurses, dieticians and more to ensure an interdisciplinary approach. These experts are available across our entire system of care and are dedicated to helping each patient reach their highest level of recovery.
