Dr. Anissa Maffett is a staff neuropsychologist who provides both inpatient neuropsychological assessments and interventions at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital โ University Campus and outpatient neuropsychological assessments at Brooks Behavioral Medicine in Jacksonville, Fla. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology (PhD) in 2021 from the APA-accredited Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich. She completed her APA-accredited residency in clinical neuropsychology at Henry Ford Health in Detroit and her 2-year postdoctoral APPCN fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, where she focused on neuro-rehabilitation with a specialty in neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Maffett joined the Inpatient Psychology Department at Brooks in 2023. Her research interests focus on quality of life, long-term cognitive and functional outcomes, identification and mitigation of healthcare barriers, brain injury recovery and healthy aging.
