Dr. Anissa Maffett is a staff neuropsychologist who provides outpatient neuropsychological assessments at Brooks Behavioral Medicine in Jacksonville, Fla. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology (PhD) in 2021 from the APA-accredited Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich. She completed her APA-accredited residency in clinical neuropsychology at Henry Ford Health in Detroit and her 2-year postdoctoral APPCN fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, where she focused on neuro-rehabilitation with a specialty in neuropsychological rehabilitation.

Dr. Maffett joined the Inpatient Psychology Department at Brooks in 2023. Areas of clinical interest include neurorehabilitation following brain injury, vocational and community reintegration, and promoting healthy cognitive aging. Her research interests focus on quality of life, long-term cognitive and functional outcomes, identification and mitigation of healthcare barriers, brain injury recovery and healthy aging.
