Low Back Pain Studies

Low Back Pain – Neural Processing Study

This study will provide us with a better understanding of the neural mechanisms of low back pain and how these factors interact to impact function. Specifically, results from this study may provide guidance on important factors to consider when evaluating and treating individuals with low back pain.

Patient Expectations Study

This study will examine the levels of patient and provider expectations regarding physical therapy interventions for low back pain over an episode of care. The study also hopes to determine the preference for involvement in the clinical decision-making process of patients reporting to physical therapy for low back pain.
