Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS)

Hand-Eye Coordination Memory & Recall

What is the Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS)?

The Bioness Integrated Therapy System (BITS) is an interactive touch screen therapy device to improve hand-eye coordination, reaction time, depth perception and working memory for patients with a variety of neurological conditions. By playing interactive games and taking assessments, patients are able to improve their coordination and brain function in an engaging, fun way.

How does BITS help?

BITS offers challenges that can be customized with specific images and text for each user to improve their personal recall, as well as adjustable difficulty levels for every game. Progress is logged and four standardized assessments can be taken at regular intervals with intelligent reports that offer insight to progress and areas that still need improvement. Currently, BITS is available as part of the Brooks Brain Injury Day Treatment Program and at our Healthcare Plaza Outpatient Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
