Martial Arts Helps Woman Continue Her Recovery
Back to physical health resource hub
Robyn Stawski is not letting her disability get in the way of her love of sports. She spent several months working with therapists in our Neuro Recovery Center and our Motion Analysis Center.ย Now Robyn is back home in Tampa overcoming Cerebral Palsy through her new found love for martial arts.
“My saying is that I control my disability. My disability doesn’t control me.” Robyn has been participating in a special taekwondo class at Life Skill Martial Arts in Tampa. She is able to continue her recovery by working on balance, strengthening, and coordination.
Robyn is an inspiration. She has worked hard during her recovery to break through the challenges of her disability.
