What is home health care?
Home Health provides medically necessary skilled care in the home. These services require a physician’s order and are intended for individuals who cannot easily leave their home to receive the care they need. All services are delivered by licensed practitioners and can include things like: skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy or social services.
These services promote, maintain, and/or restore health and minimize the effects of illness and disability.
