Lashia Hicks, PT, DPT, Director of Rehabilitation, University Crossing
I chose Brooks early in my career I began at Brooks University Crossing as a physical therapist assistant. And then once I became licensed as a physical therapist, I worked for the company for another year or so and then I was able to apply and be accepted into the Brooks Geriatric Residency Program. And I completed that with Brooks, and now I have my GCS, which I’m very proud of and just thankful for them, you know, giving me the opportunity. And then I returned back to Brooks University Crossing and worked as the lead orthopedic therapist. And when their director of rehabilitation position was available, I applied for that. And now I have advanced my career to be the director of rehab at Brooks University Crossing.
