Staff Physiatrist
Erum Usman, MD, has assumed the role of staff physiatrist at Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation.
Dr. Usman received her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, St. Kitts, and completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Usman has an extensive background in research and previously worked as a researcher at Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, she led research initiatives within the neurology department including conducting clinical trials, managing patient enrollment and organizing data collection.
