Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)

A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) is a full body evaluation that looks at an individual’s overall ability to perform tasks required for daily living as well as for work.

An individual may have an FCE to determine safe abilities for work status, or for disability status. The FCE consists of standardized tests combined with subjective reports from the client and objective data gathered at time of evaluation to conclude safe material and non material handling levels.
