Toe Walking

Toe walking is observed when a child is walking on their tip toes.

It is common in children that are first starting to learn to walk. However, if it persists past the age of 2, it is important to seek a medical professional and possible physical therapy treatment. Idiopathic toe walking is a condition that occurs in the absence of any known medical diagnoses such as autism, cerebral palsy, and muscular dystrophy.
