Brooks Rehabilitation is thrilled to announce that its home health division has been named the best in Jacksonville and ranked among the top 20 in Florida on Newsweek’s 2026 America’s Best Home Health Agencies list.

This year’s list recognizes 300 top providers across the country, evaluated on four key data sources: quality metrics, peer recommendations, patient experience and accreditations. Quality metrics carried the greatest weight in the scoring model, reflecting the emphasis on clinical outcomes and safety, while survey input from health professionals and patients added valuable perspectives on agency performance. Accreditation data from Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Community Health Accreditation Partner and The Joint Commission were also included in the analysis.

The result is a state-by-state list of agencies that stood out for their commitment to delivering reliable, evidence-based care in a home setting.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from Newsweek,” said Melissa Cooper, vice president of operations for Brooks’ home health division. “This honor is a testament to the hard work, compassion and expertise of our entire team. Every day, our caregivers go above and beyond to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care in the comfort of their own homes.”

As one of the largest home health care agencies in Florida, Brooks’ home health services are available across 23 counties in North and Central Florida. Brooks  nurses and therapists take great pride in providing professional, compassionate and reliable services, and the team is committed to ensuring an excellent experience with every visit.
