Carolyn Geis, MD, is associate director of the stroke rehabilitation program at Brooks. She currently cares for patients with stroke and other neurologic conditions at the Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation Outpatient Physician Clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida.ย ย ย 

Dr. Geis is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) and has a subspecialty board certification in brain injury medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas, and completed her residency at Loyola/ Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she served as chief resident.ย 

Dr. Geis is the past vice chair of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She serves on the national steering committee for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Registry Program, which includes the stroke rehabilitation registry initiative. She is an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.ย
