To protect the privacy of all our patients and staff members and ensure the integrity of the therapeutic environment, Brooks Rehabilitation has strict rules relating to videotaping, audio recording or photography at all of our locations.
There may be times when a patient/family wants to photograph, videotape or record the patient’s progress. This may only be allowed in a private setting, such as a patient room or designated area for maximum privacy. There are specific conditions that must apply for this type of activity;
- No other patient or patient information can be in the photo/video.
- Staff members must give their explicit permission to be photographed or recorded. At any time, they can rescind that permission and ask that you stop recording.
- At no time should the photography/videotaping interfere with treatment.
Brooks Rehabilitation prohibits the use of recording-enabled smart glasses or other wearable technology capable of taking photos or recording videos except for clinical and educational purposes under the direct supervision of a clinician.
No Lawyers are allowed to photograph, videotape or record on Brooks property.
Any member of the media wishing to film a patient or any of our locations must get approval from the Public Relations/Marketing department. Please call (904) 328-9531 or email [email protected]. Patients or family members should not invite media on-site without permission.
If you have any questions or need to request permissions, please email [email protected].
