Carolyn Geis, MD

Medical Director, Halifax Health & Brooks Rehabilitation Center For Inpatient Rehabilitation

Dr. Geis is Medical Director for the Halifax Health & Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and sub-specialty board certified in Brain Injury Medicine. She has proudly presented research conducted by the Halifax Brooks team on the national and international stage this past year.

Dr. Geis received her medical degree from the University of Texas. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.

She serves as vice chair of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and chair of the American Board of Physical Medicine Part 1 Exam Committee. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Florida State College of Medicine and has multiple research publications in the areas of stroke and spasticity. Dr. Geis presented research, that the Halifax Brooks team and she conducted, nationally and internationally this past year.
