Trevor Persaud, DO

Associate Medical Director of the Brain Injury Program and Medical Director of the Brain Injury Day Program

Dr. Trevor Persaud received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine–Georgia Campus, Suwanee, Ga. He then completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, where he served as chief resident and was awarded “Resident of the Year.” After his residency, Persaud completed a fellowship in Brain Injury Rehabilitation Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

At Brooks, Persaud assists Dr. Ngo, medical director of the Brooks Brain Injury Program with a special focus on expansion of outpatient physiatry services for brain injury patients.  In addition, he helps oversee the care of patients in the brain injury unit at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – University Campus.

Outside of medicine, Persaud enjoys traveling and visiting national parks, sports and spending time with his family and friends.
