Mary was diagnosed with bone cancer as a child and underwent an amputation at the age of 13. She wears a prosthetic approximately 12-15 hours a day. Her biggest challenges included navigating stairs and dealing with snow and ice. Mary participated in outpatient therapy for 1-2 weeks as part of her recovery process.
