Oluwateniola โ€œTeniโ€ earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, in May of 2023. Driven by a passion for improving health outcomes and a dedication to continuous learning, she pursued a graduate certificate in clinical and translational research from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the fall of 2023. This academic pursuit laid the groundwork for the start of her professional career, propelling her into the realm of healthcare research.

When Teni joined Brooks Rehabilitation as a research assistant at the beginning of 2024, she immersed herself in the complexities of neuromuscular research, focusing on the impact of research-driven interventions on patient well-being. In this role, she collaborates closely with coordinators to streamline interventions, facilitate data collection and compile comprehensive documentation while ensuring high quality and efficiency. Adaptable and flexible in her daily activities, she readily assists wherever needed.

Teni is committed to driving positive changes by advocating for inclusivity, equity and accessibility within healthcare systems. Her overarching goal is to bridge the gap between research and practice, ultimately transforming the lives of those entrusted to her care.
