Robert McIver, PT, DPT, NCS

 Director, Center for Innovation 

Dr. McIver is a board-certified neurologic specialist working in the field of neurologic physical therapy at Brooks Rehabilitation. He received a doctorate in physical therapy in 2004 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and completed a neurologic residency at Brooks Rehabilitation in 2010.

His passion for working with patients who are impacted by neurologic injuries has carried over into a passion for technological advancements that help patients achieve more independence and function in their everyday lives. This opportunity evolved into his current role as director of the Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Innovation, where he is responsible ensuring the organization is on the cutting edge of rehabilitation technology. McIver lectures extensively on current rehabilitation technology trends at conferences across the country and oversees Brooks’ Neuro Recovery Center, a gym where people with disabilities can attend to work on recovery goals and have access to rehabilitation technology.
