Whitney experienced a stroke at the age of 34, resulting in a right-side deficit. Despite her challenges, she uses no assistive devices to navigate daily life. One of her biggest struggles was caring for her 18-month-old, relearning how to walk and write, and adjusting to losing her ability to continue her career. As a young stroke survivor, Whitney faced unique obstacles but has remained determined. She has participated in outpatient rehab, receiving physical therapy, and has explored alternative treatments, including acupuncture and Pilates.
