Clinical Research Coordinator
Josh completed his Bachelor of Science in Health (BHS) in 2013 with a minor in Health Education. That same year, he began a capstone internship with the Brooks Rehabilitation Neuro Recovery Center. He transitioned to a PRN Tech role for the Jacksonville Brooks outpatient clinics before securing a full-time position at Brooks University Hospital, where he gained nine years of experience on the spinal cord injury floor. Josh was first introduced to Brooks Clinical Research while assisting with inpatient screens for the Modal Tongue Drive System Study (mTDS). He moved on to help open Brooks Bartram Hospital in early 2022 as part of the inaugural team and as Lead Tech for the program. In 2023, Josh joined the Brooks Clinical Research Center as a clinical research coordinator. His duties include a variety of complex activities involved in the collection, compilation, documentation and analysis of clinical research data for assigned protocols, as well as ensuring current and accurate reporting and tracking information is maintained for assigned studies.
