By plane

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the primary airport for Northeast Florida. The airport is 20 miles north of our University Campus hospital and 33 miles north of our Bartram Campus hospital.

For private aircraft, visitors should contact Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport (JAXEX) or the Northeast Florida Regional Airport.

By bus

Greyhound Lines, Inc. offers service to Jacksonville from across the U.S. Visitors from Georgia and Florida may also want to check out Megabus, a low-cost bus service that connects Jacksonville to Atlanta and other cities in Florida.

By train

Amtrak offers direct service to Jacksonville on its Silver Service/Palmetto Line. This line runs the length of the East Coast from New York to Miami. The Amtrak station is 11 miles northwest of our University Campus and 23 miles northwest of our Bartram Campus.

Getting around Jacksonville

Jacksonville does offer Uber, Lyft, ZTrip, local taxi companies and a public bus route via the Jacksonville Transit Authority. However, a rental car is the best way to get around Jacksonville as the biggest city by land area in the contiguous United States (over 757 square miles of land). The Jacksonville Airport offers most major car rental companies onsite, accessible in the baggage claim area.
