Heather Kendall

System Director of Quality and Patient Safety

Heather Kendall earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago and a master’s degree in nursing leadership from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City. Heather holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and is a certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ).

Heather’s previous experiences as a registered nurse, nurse case manager and surgical quality analyst have solidified her expertise in healthcare quality, patient safety and operational efficiency.

As the system director of quality and patient safety, Heather identifies and leads initiatives that prioritize quality data and patient safety. Her focus is currently integrating innovative research and data-driven strategies to enhance patient outcomes through clinical documentation improvement, functional gain measurement and quality improvement interventions.
