Cancer Rehabilitation Navigator & Oncology Program Coordinator
Ashley Perry, PT, DPT, CLT, MTC, is the cancer rehabilitation navigator at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, Florida, and the oncology rehabilitation navigator at Halifax Health – Brooks Rehabilitation Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation in Daytona Beach, Florida. Ashley is a certified clinical instructor and is currently the oncology program coordinator at Brooks Rehabilitation.
Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in 2003. She later earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2010 and completed her postdoctoral residency in orthopedics in 2012. Since 2018, Ashley has worked as the oncology program coordinator at Brooks, working closely with clinical staff, developing the rehabilitation program for outpatient and inpatient care settings at Brooks.
For over a decade, Ashley continued to gain experience in orthopedics and oncology rehabilitation. In 2019, she was responsible for launching one of the only cancer rehabilitation navigation programs in Northeast Florida. Since then, Ashley has built the program to support the unique needs of patients with cancer through Brooks’ entire system of care. In 2021, she received the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy Research Grant and, since then, has been a coauthor of various research publifications on oncology rehabilitation. Previously, Ashley served as a center manager at Brooks Outpatient Clinic in Ormond Beach, Florida, overseeing daily operations.
