This week, Dr. Katelyn W. Jordan was a guest on WJCT’s First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross speaking about Macular Degeneration/Low Vision Awareness Month.

February is Macular Degeneration/Low Vision Awareness Month. Low vision is a visual impairment that cannot be corrected by standard eyeglasses, contact lenses, medication or surgery and can seriously interfere with the ability to perform everyday activities. Dr. Katelyn W. Jordan, Low Vision Optometrist with Brooks Rehabilitation Center, joined WJCT News with her patient, Brenda Meritt, with more information.
