Chuck experienced a stroke in 2011 at the age of 64 and lives with left-side neglect. Despite this, he is able to live without assistive devices for mobility. His biggest challenges were adapting to his new way of life and not being able to do things he once could. He relies on his wife, Julie, for transportation. Chuck has participated in the Stroke Wellness program and Adaptive Sports and Recreation.
