Retired as Corporate Chef in 2019.
Hobbies and Interests: Service dog trainer, canning and picking items, bottling of BBQ and hot sauces, development of cooking and pickling classes, candy confectionery development, website development, ice carving
Mark experienced a stroke in 2019 at the age of 56, which left him with left-side neglect. Despite this, he does not rely on assistive devices for mobility. Mark found showering, walking, and eating the most challenging aspects of his recovery. He has participated in both the NRC and Adaptive Sports and Recreation programs. Mark is passionate about helping others regain their lives, drawing from his experiences to inspire and support others.
