Senior Research Associate
Hannah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Aquatic Therapy from West Virginia University in 2013. She continued her education by receiving a Masterโs of Science degree in Exercise Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Hannah is a Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM) as well as a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer (NCHPAD/ACSM). She began with Brooks in 2015 as an exercise physiologist in the Brooks Neuro Recovery Center and joined the Neuromuscular Research Program as a clinical research coordinator in 2019.
Focus Areas
Hannahโs passion for research began when studying the effects of exercise interventions to prevent secondary conditions following spinal cord injury. As a Senior Research Associate, Hannah assists with regulatory compliance through submissions and reporting to the Institutional Review Board and funding agencies. She also assists with grant proposals and applications for future projects. Her day to day responsibilities include overseeing data management, study supply inventory, personnel and participant scheduling, and daily interventions for many of the neuromuscular research projects.
