Brooks Rehabilitation is honored to announce that their two skilled nursing facilities, Bartram Crossing (BC) and University Crossing (UC), both earned a “High Performing” rating, the highest possible achievement, on the U.S. News & World Report’s 2026 Best Nursing Homes list.
Nursing home care can be as short as a few days or weeks after hospitalization, or it can be years if aging family members can no longer live on their own. To help find the best match for a loved one, U.S. News evaluated more than 14,750 facilities throughout the country and rated them in two different areas, short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
To be recognized as one of the 2026 U.S. News Best Nursing Homes, a facility must have been “High Performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care or both. Of the 58 nursing homes in Jacksonville, 11 received an overall rating of 5 out of 5. Each facility was assessed using 17 quality metrics. Our skilled nursing facilities outperformed both the Florida and national averages in the assessed quality areas.
“We are deeply honored that our skilled nursing facilities have been named among the Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News & World Report. This underscores our dedication to providing exceptional care in a warm and supportive environment for our patients and residents. It is a true reflection of the passion and commitment of our team members, who consistently go the extra mile to deliver outstanding service and maintain the highest levels of quality,” said Victor DeRienzo, Chief Operating Officer – Aging Services and Outpatient.
