Our work

The Clinical Research Center is devoted to conducting innovative research studies to expand the knowledge and science of recovery for patients at Brooks. Not only are we focused on our patients’ futures–we’re also focused on advancing the future of rehabilitation.

Neuromuscular Research Program

The goal of this research program is to develop effective treatments to help individuals with neurological disorders such as stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury.

Musculoskeletal Research Program

With the aim to improve the delivery of rehabilitation care for individuals experiencing a variety of musculoskeletal pain-related conditions, this research program also focuses on cancer rehabilitation and pelvic disorders.

We are elevating excellence in rehabilitation through advancements in health profession education and learning health systems.
