Behavioral health

Motor speech disorders treatment
After a stroke, speech can be affected. Brooks has one of the only programs in Florida to treat motor speech disorders.
Spasticity management
During and after recovery, patients may experience tightening of muscles. Brooks’ experts help patients recover and manage spasticity on their own.
Communication disorders
After a stroke communication or language disorders such as aphasia can occur. Brooks provides some of the most highly regarded communication disorders care in the nation.

Rehabilitation Hospitals
24/7 rehabilitation hospital care with medical staff oversight. Provides 3 hours of therapy 5 days per week, tailored to the patient’s ability.

Skilled Nursing
Medical nursing care along with therapy services as the patient continues to recover.

Brain Injury Day Treatment Program
Up to 6 hours of intensive interdisciplinary therapy and behavioral health services to prepare the patient for home.

Home Health
Receive nursing, therapy and case management services in the home. Serving 23 Florida counties.

Outpatient Clinics
With over 50 clinics across Florida, receive physical, occupational and speech therapy care with Brooks’ highly knowledgeable clinicians.
Community programs
Providing continued support for patients' recovery goals, as well as social and vocational support, our community programs are available to patients after initial rehabilitation is complete.

Aphasia Center
After initial rehabilitation, our highly awarded aphasia treatment center helps patients continue to work on language and communication barriers.

Brain Injury Clubhouse
Our unique community service provides vocational training and job search support for those recovering from a brain injury.
