Cyberdyne Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL)
A wearable robotic exoskeleton that detects bioelectric signals to assist lower-limb movement during therapy
Our Neuro Recovery Centers (NRC) are state-of-the-art rehabilitation centers offering specialized equipment and technology for customized rehabilitation during and after traditional therapy has been completed. Our unique gym-style setting allows members to access programming up to six days per week, making it possible to maintain and build functional movement and abilities.
The NRC supports adults and pediatric patients at multiple stages of recovery, including:
The NRC provides a range of programs built around your goals, abilities and level of independence. For those looking to access technology and programming beyond what insurance covers, an independent subscriber program is also available.
Our warm therapy pool creates a low-impact environment where you can perform movements that may be difficult or impossible on land, while using the natural resistance of water to build strength and endurance.
Your monthly subscriber fee includes two weekly one-on-one sessions with a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer. Sessions can be with any of our technologies or exercise environments. Your trainer also provides nutritional counseling and leads group classes for members with shared goals and needs.
Circuit training combines strength, endurance, balance and functional exercises to support motor recovery and improve overall health and fitness. A physical therapist develops your individualized program.
Our physical therapists bring advanced rehabilitation technologies directly into your plan of care, creating a more personalized and innovative treatment experience.
The Neuro Recovery Center offers dedicated services for children and teens, ages 5–18, giving young members access to advanced rehabilitation technology in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. Hours are Monday through Friday, 3–5 p.m. A parent or caregiver must remain with their child at all times during NRC visits.
Technology-based activities
Two additional outpatient specialty services that are available through the NRC include seating and mobility support and assistive technology solutions.
Customized Seating and Mobility Clinic
Our expert physical and occupational therapists partner with mobility equipment companies to tailor assessments and fittings to support mobility, comfort and independence of the individual, including pediatric patients.
In-Home Assistive Technology
Our team helps provide solutions, referrals and ideas to improve accessibility and independence in your everyday environment.
Our NRCs house some of the most advanced neurorehabilitation technology available. Our clinical team incorporates this technology in treatment plans for an innovative approach to therapy.
Cyberdyne Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL)
A wearable robotic exoskeleton that detects bioelectric signals to assist lower-limb movement during therapy
An augmented and virtual reality treadmill system for gait adaptability, balance training and real-world movement simulation
A body-weight support system that enables safe ambulation and movement training with reduced fall risk
A lightweight functional electrical stimulation device that supports foot drop correction and improved walking
RT300 and RT200 FES Bikes
Motorized cycling devices that use electrical stimulation to activate muscles in the lower extremities, upper extremities and trunk, enabling functional cycling or simulated walking patterns
An arm exoskeleton paired with a virtual reality environment that uses functional games to retrain upper extremity movement
A robotic-assisted device with intelligent gravity compensation and VR-based training for one or both arms
A device targeting hand and finger motor and sensory function, suitable for all phases of hand rehabilitation
A functional electrical stimulation station with 40 preprogrammed activities available in four therapy libraries, including: hand, upper extremity, lower extremity, and general activities— including grasp and release, feeding, transfers, heel slides and sit-to-stand
Intelligently Controlled Assistive Rehabilitation Elliptical (ICARE)
A motorized, body-weight-supported elliptical trainer that simulates walking at adjustable speed and stride length, supporting high-repetition movement in a safe setting
